Carvel Express - West Orange

Good soft serve ice cream. A little pricey. Noisy due to loud machinery in the store.

I was there recently to pick up a birthday cake. The young man behind the counter was very sweet and apologized in advance if the writing wasn't so nice because he was still learning. I told him anything he does is way better than I would do! He told me that another customer has complained about his cake writing skills. It wasn't until he said that that I noticed he has a physical deformity and that made me really sad for h that a customer would be so disgusting. Kudos to.

Bad quality ice cream. Never had a carvel vanilla soft serve that was icey and grainy. It is here! Staff is nice but product is poor!??

Ordered a custom cake (extra crunchies) for my daughters birthday. I called the Carvel closest to my house and they were not very helpful. I then called the West Orange Carvel. Staff could not be nicer. I picked up the cake no issues?served it yesterday. My nephew was complaining when we were cutting it that it was so unoriginal?until we tasted it?OMG it was delicious. Really enjoyed my experience at this Carvel! Every Wednesday is BOGO classic sundaes so it's such a great deal. The store manages to keep the store very clean and has plenty of choices for toppings. Absolutely love this place!
