Service was okay. I think the server was new. She was very sweet but she was definitely learning. I would still come back again.
The restaurant is in a nice location, but that pretty much gives the restaurant free reign to over charge for food and allow their servers and staff to ignore their tables. We had to request, Raul, our server for the night, to acknowledge we were at the table after 15 minutes of being seated. The food itself was OK at best, the drinks were better than the food. I got the skirt steak with rice and i had to double check if i cracked my tooth from the rice. The “culinary” team this restaurant prides themselves on produces mediocre food there i said it. Our waiter Raul did not check on us once while we were eating nor did he try to accommodate busing of dishes that were finished, filling of water glasses, or even asking if we wanted another drink with our meal. We asked for our side of sweet potato to be wrapped up and it was thrown out by staff. Yes, they made us new boiled sweet potatoes with no frills as in the order thanks a lot for throwing out the original order and offering boiled sweet potatoes as the replacement. Overall, for a $300+ meal for 4, it was not worth it. Will not be back, unfortunately.
Delicious brunch menu and unique drinks! I recommend waiting until 12pm for Sunday brunch. My husband and I arrived early for an 11:15 reservation and the front door was still locked. We waited to get in, and once they opened the staff was still occupied with opening. We absolutely LOVED the Pear drinks and the Chicken and French Toast was killer! We’ll be back with friends and colleagues!
This place is fabulous from the scenic waterfront view of new jersey in the rear, music played by the disc jockey with all genres, ambience of the restaurant decor, excellent food, great drinks, and overall attentive and fast service. This place is so good that I visited with several parties again and again. The overall pricing is reasonable. I absolutely love the bartender Olga, she definitely knows how to make the drink just the way you want it. You can find parking on the street yourself or pay valet $10-15 in cash. The style of the restaurant is definitely dress to impress which I love. You must book reservations to attend this restaurant and use a credit card on file for seating which is charged per person in your party whether they come or not. They really don’t do walk-ins. You must book in advance if you want to experience this restaurant. Also, if you are celebrating a party and you bring a cake, they charge $4 per slice of the cake they cut for each person in your party, and they hold the cake for you until your ready to celebrate and be served.
