The food was decent, but it's definitely more expensive than before. The service was good, although it felt a bit rushed. It doesn't have the same atmosphere that it used to before the pandemic. We also noticed a cockroach crawling on the floor, which was quite concerning.
The menu is quite extensive, featuring traditional sushi options along with some unique specials, such as the Longhorn roll. This impressive roll includes shrimp tempura, yamagobo, cucumber, spicy white fish, and is topped with tempura flakes, spicy mayo, eel sauce, and masago. It’s even shaped like the Texas Longhorns logo! And let me tell you, it is absolutely delicious — definitely the highlight of my meal. Conveniently, there is ample free parking available in the shopping complex, which also houses Westlake HEB, Chick Fil A, and P Terry's.
The waitress was very nice, and the food was okay. There was too much imitation crab in the sushi; I can buy that at the supermarket for a lower price. However, overall, the place had a nice atmosphere.
A cute little sushi place with a super nice wait staff.
