Walt's Pub Grill - West Lafayette

I really enjoyed the food, it was delicious, especially the Famous Pub Chicken Sandwich . The prices are very reasonable too.Our server wasn 't very helpful. She forgot to bring us the soup that comes with our entree even though the restaurant was empty. But other than that, the view outside was very pleasant and we had a good time.

The food was amazing and we love the atmosphere. The server was not friendly at all. Very disappointed in that, she kept telling us how busy she was...well you should be happy about that. We will come back just hope for a different server next timeFood: 5/5

Enormous portions and fair value for price. Over the Wabash river. Server Kristine was attentive, prompt and helpful in navigating the menu. Got the Baja Bowl, South West Bowl, Cup of Chili, and Nachos Grande. The nachos were ENORMOUS. Rotating craft beer menu.Food was decent. Broccoli was cooked nicely (often under or over cooked in restaurants I find). They have several beers on tap. Often do events and have a basement and outside patio. They also have a fireplace.4.2/5

Our favorite restaurant in West Lafayette! We have dinner at Walt’s 3-4 times per month and never fail to have a great experience. Appetizers, entrees, and desserts are always delicious. Great service by our waitress Kristine, very clean dining room, and comfortable atmosphere.Food: 5/5

Went here on a Saturday night about 7pm, we asked to sit on the patio, and we’re told that the patio is booked through the summer for weddings and other events and cannot be used. It wouldn’t have been such a big deal, but it was such a beautiful night and we chose this place specifically to sit on the patio. Wish this was posted on their website so that we could’ve chosen somewhere else. We decided to still go for it since we had made the 20 minute drive there and sat at a table inside. There were several empty tables and about three or four waitresses, taking care of the filled tables. It took about 20 minutes for us to get our alcoholic drinks that we ordered right when we sat down. And then another 30 minutes to get our catfish meals. Our waitress only checked in on us one or two times and our drinks/water sat empty for at least 20 minutes, as we watched her converse with another table, we tried to wave her down, but she never looked up from them. The food was unimpressive, overly greasy and bland. I had a house salad with my meal, and the lettuce seem like it had been frozen and then thawed out and was wilted. Couldn’t even finish it. This is the second time I’ve given this place a shot. Not sure I’ll make it back.
