Bidrage med feedbackThe appetizer selection is fantastic, and the bulgogi is absolutely delicious. Every meal includes free soup, which is a nice touch. The food arrived quickly, and the staff were very friendly. We definitely plan to return to Kibu Cafe soon and often!
The menu is displayed on the wall with beautiful large pictures, making it easy for those unfamiliar with Korean cuisine to order without any anxiety about what to choose. They also cater well to vegetarians, though unfortunately, the Jajangmyeon sauce contains ground pork, just like in Korea. I know I might be gushing, but this place truly deserves it. If I had to find a critique, I'd mention the lack of popular Korean barbecue options and the ambiance is not particularly impressive; however, many restaurants in Korea have a simple design. If you’ve never tried Korean food before, this should definitely be your first stop. Dine here, and you’ll have a leg up on your friends in New York, as you’ll have enjoyed better Korean cuisine than they have!
This restaurant was okay. I was somewhat let down by the rice cake in spicy sauce; my wife and I found the sauce to be too watery. However, the spicy pork was excellent. We also tried the spicy noodle soup with squid and shellfish, which was quite tasty as well. The food had a good level of spiciness without being too overpowering.
I'll never forget this restaurant. One of the best Korean restaurants at Purdue. I appreciate it that you serve for Purdue students for 13 years. We had great memory here. Thank you!
Kibu is the best and cheapest Korean restaurant in the town. I'll never forget its No.18 Kimchi Chigae. As the food is getting more and more expensive around the campus, Kibu is one of the few options left that provide excellent food in low price. Thanks for your 13 years service!
