The suppe was only 1.5 and it was great. the steak was immaculate and kartoffel mur was delicious. I think they have good burgers too, but I didn't try them because I was looking for steak.
A nice neighborhood diner. The food is good and you can get breakfast all day. It's locally owned by a family that has been in West Lafayette for a while. It's a comfortable place that I go to a lot.
This restaurant has a laid-back vibe, making it a great spot for family meals. Dishes come with a side, and you can add a cup of soup or a salad for a little extra. The portion sizes are average, and the quality of the coating on the food is just okay. While the prices seem inexpensive at first, keep in mind that each meal includes only one side, so the value is somewhat mixed. The service is good, and overall, the experience is better than a typical mom-and-pop diner, but not quite as polished as a Cheddar’s. The flavors of the meals remind me a bit of cafeteria food, and I can see older folks enjoying this place.
We arrived at 11:00 a.m. on a bustling Sunday morning and were informed that there would be a wait of 10-15 minutes. We decided to wait in the car and received a text to come back in less than 4 minutes. The food was delicious, and the service was excellent—truly the perfect brunch! Be sure to try the Gyro-Quadillas; they're amazing!
