We recently had a small birthday party in the Ailsa Room at this restaurant and had an amazing experience. From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional. Kirsty, the lovely girl who took care of us, was superb. The food was delicious and the drinks kept flowing. We had a fantastic afternoon and highly recommend this restaurant. The rooms were fantastic, and the service and location both scored a perfect 5. Overall, this hotel is a luxurious spot with a stunning view - definitely a highlight of my visit.

Located in a lovely area that reminds me of home, this restaurant is beautifully presented with a variety of options. The spa treatment was excellent, earning 5 stars. The gym focuses on cardio but also offers strength training areas, receiving 4 stars. The rooms are very comfortable with spacious bathrooms that allow for both showering and bathing, earning 4.5 stars. The service was good, although staff could engage a bit more with guests to make them feel more welcomed, which is an easy fix. The food was delicious, ranging from the à la carte menu to the bar menu and breakfast, providing plenty of choices and earning 5 stars. Afternoon tea was also enjoyable, presented in a photogenic manner and earning 5 stars. Overall, this hotel provided a perfect getaway despite the long drive of 7-8 hours, and I would definitely return.
