That was genuinely the worst dining experience I've ever had. Nothing went right, and even if it had just been issues in the kitchen, the service was so excessively poor that it made the entire experience miserable.

The omelette and duckfruit hatch we ordered were incredibly dry, and the other person I was dining with agreed. The leberbutter was a strange experience; it had an unusual sweet flavor that didn’t resemble anything buttery. The bread that came with it was wet and soggy. While the hush puppies were tasty, they were served with an odd sweet sauce. We had been informed that the dishes would arrive at different times because it was a family-style meal, but I don’t see how an omelette or pancake qualifies as family style. One of our meals took 45 minutes to arrive, and by that point, the rest of us had already finished eating, yet we were still charged for our orange juices.

Had high expectations as the reviews on yelp were great. the ambiente was really cozy and beautiful, the menu looked very fascinating, with taking out the very limited selection of weeps (only home wines: a few red and a few white literally. the staff is very friendly and nice! the disappointment came with the cut fried chicken we ordered: the crust was so burned that we had to remove it like a hard bowl and dispose of it (very hard and dark brown, almost black, but not only because it was darkened the southern style that was not to eat. the organic chicken inside was little dry, but still tasty. I had previously fried chicken (including in new orleans, but it was in the regular juicy and the chest was not only edible, but also very tasty. I thought it was just a missing one from the cook, but I saw on the next table people also their teller full of hard, dark brown crust (fritten huh also. When I mentioned the problem of the very friendly waitress, she promised to bring it to the chef. each self-respecting cook would come out and talk to a customer with a legitimate concern (it was not very busy in definitiw: not happening here. I don't feel motivated to give them a second chance.

The fried chicken has a charred exterior with minimal meat, and the $5 side of fries comes in a small 5-inch plate and is overly salty. I'm not sure how they have such high ratings on Yelp. However, they are a pop-up and very friendly. If you're able to enjoy the food, the portion size is not a bad deal for the price.

Fantastic, creative food! Well prepared modern takes on Southern ingredients. Leisurely, but not unattentive service. There was only one cocktail option which seemed odd at brunch but otherwise fantastic. I'll be back!
