Bidrage med feedbackThis restaurant is a great place for a quick and easy lunch. The food was simple but delicious, perfect for a midday meal. We ordered a panini and a jacket potato and enjoyed our meal. Overall, it's a good spot for lunch, but may not be the best choice for a fancy evening dinner.
The macaroni was dry and the fries were barely warm. The service was slow and there was no energy in this cafe. The toilets across from the cafe were unhygienic and unkempt.
Don't like giving bad reviews, but this place was honestly awful. The queue was huge, then a coach party joined to make it even longer. People were waiting for ages. The review before mine is correct when the lady said she had waited for a while with two kids and was then barked at to find a table first I was sitting at a table across from the counter and heard what had happened and saw her leaving. She saved herself a small fortune, so maybe not a bad thing. There should be someone at the door telling people to find a table before joining the queue, otherwise folk don't know. My mum and I had 1 x soup, 1 x baked potato with beans, 1 x cake and 1 x pot of tea which cost £23. Absolutely ridiculous and it wasn't great. My elderly mum insisted on paying and I felt embarrassed at the price. They didn't give us cups for tea, just the teapot so I had to try and chase a member of staff for cups. It became a total menagerie with people ordering food then wandering around with their trays trying and failing to find an empty table. They should have a limit on the number of people they allow in when it's busy. They let dogs in, and when we were in there were quite a few there. A kid sat close behind us holding a small dog that barked and barked level with my ear. I'm scared of dogs and just wanted to get out. Totally understand service dogs being allowed in, but not pets. Don't really want to be eating and getting eyeballed from a dog in the queue licking its lips at everything I ate.
Visited today for lunch with grandchildren. Waited in queue for more than 20 mins and then this arrogant woman shouted to the queue get a table before ordering food ! Foreign visitors behind me were shocked . I’m asked how I was to find a table when I had 2 kids . The woman at the till shouted at me that they were busy . I and the people behind me left the food on the counter in disgust . I will not be back !!’
We popped in here for something to eat as we were in the area and on the plus side, its dog friendly. There wasn't much choice apart from breakfast items, toasties are not served until lunch but loads of people asking for them. It's nothing special inside, reminded me of a basic cafeteria but staff were great. It is very bust and can be difficult to get a seat. The food was alright but certainly not worth the price! A 6 piece breakfast, tea, 2 brownies, 2 pepsi and a breakfast roll cost over £30. Certainly not worth that price!
