We were greeted with a cream tea and friendly conversation upon arrival. The room was lovely, with a large bed and shower. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast, which included eggs, yogurt, cereal, and a full English option. The location was very central and convenient. Sue and Nigel went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable.

My friend and I stayed at this bed and breakfast for one night during a hiking weekend in Dorset. My friend found this place online and it turned out to be a fantastic discovery! Sue and Nigel are wonderful hosts who greeted us with tea and delicious scones. The room was spacious, bright, and impeccably clean. The location is ideal, situated in the heart of the charming village of Abbotsbury with pubs and restaurants just a stone's throw away. Sue and Nigel went above and beyond to ensure our stay was enjoyable. I highly recommend staying at this bed and breakfast if you are in the area!

Upon arrival, we were greeted with a delightful cream tea. The room was both modern and incredibly comfortable, featuring a fabulous big bed. The owners were extremely attentive and accommodating, going above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. We were reluctant to leave and will definitely be returning in the future.

We've been visiting Wheelwrights for years and the title says it all really. Excellent scones, plenty of clotted cream, good jam, and lovely home made cakes too if you have space. The atmosphere inside is calm and quaint, the garden is lovely too!

Wheelwrights is a tea room, in an old house full of charm, as always in England. You will be welcomed by a charming gentleman and his wife who love France! He speaks French very well, which facilitates conversation! The cream tea is really excellent, served in a pretty dish. The slightly tidy scones are very fresh and tasty, the portion of clotted cream is generous and of good quality, strawberry jams with pieces is perfect! In short, if you go to this Dorset area in Abbotsbury, do not deprive yourself of this small port of call in Wheelwrights, you will not be disappointed.
