Good food good location but rude staff, often feel unwelcome

Had their excellent lunch. £15 per head for set menu four small courses. Total cost of £50.50 including meal for 2, a couple of glasses of wine, one dessert, and a tip. Really high quality and delicious meal. Recommended

Needs to make clear that it is a restaurant if that is indeed what it is rather than a pub and take that stupid sign down from outside. You are told you can't have a drink there on a Saturday evening as all the tables are reserved. At least the manager was bleatingly polite I sensed he was (rightly) worried about the direction things were about to take.

The Italian Tapas at the Plume are always top-notch. We love it there and go as often as we can even though we are not local to Sherborne.

The food was truly excellent, and I thoroughly enjoyed everything we chose to indulge in that evening. Thanks!
