Herbies Dino - West Dorset

Wow! We ordered a 1/2 pound bacon cheeseburger and whitebait with chips at this restaurant. The portions were huge, the food was piping hot, and the service was quick despite how busy they were.

Due to my brother's recommendation (we both live in kent) he said as you on holiday in lyme regis you must try herbies fish and chips along the front. So today we did, and wow how right was he, massive portion of cod and chips and almost certainly the best fish and chips we have had in years ,it's all cooked to order and well worth the wait.

I visited this restaurant for fish and chips on a Saturday night and it was the best I have had in a long time. The batter on the fish was the most delicious I have ever tasted. I usually can finish everything, but this time I couldn't and had to leave some. The portions are generous and we expected it to be good because there was a long queue. I highly recommend this chippy.

Overjoyed to find this spot in Lyme. Delicious chunky fish and some more interesting options to go alongside the classics. Family favourite when visiting Lyme. Herbies sat on the beach.. bliss!

What a waste of money the chips were terrible over cooked that much the potato had disappeared the fish wasn’t much better under cooked batter ended up throwing it in the bin
