Brace Of Pheasants - West Dorset

I had another fantastic experience at the Brace of Pheasants. The service was good and excellent. The real ale on tap straight from the barrels was top-notch. The room was comfortable and the breakfast was delicious. Thank you to everyone, I look forward to visiting again.

Gear pub is a fantastic place with amazing hosts and excellent beer. We made a reservation for 14 people for a family Sunday lunch and the food was delicious. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

Absolutely loved it at the brace of pheasants, lovely oldie worldie hostelry with bags of character. Everything was very nice,room comfortable and warm,very welcoming on a cold damp day at the end of December, nicely furnished with lots of good features,pub itself is full of character, lovely staff and delicious, quality food that was cooked well, Can't fault.

The food here is worth travelling to this country restaurant for. No pub grub here, but an interesting menu with multiple appealing options, perfectly cooked and nicely presented by friendly staff. It was very busy so obviously the word has got out. There were great vegetarian options and the desserts we ate were totally delicious. We will be back.

Lovely pub with great food and friendly staff. Our second visit and we were not disappointed. This time we stayed at the pub for a night and had a comfortable room.
