Waterfront Market - West Des Moines

The food was delicious, and the service was outstanding during my recent visit.

At first glance, this restaurant may not seem impressive from the outside, but don't be deceived by appearances. This is the best seafood restaurant in Des Moines, Iowa. They source fresh seafood directly from the coast. My lightly cut halibut was perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection—it really hit the spot. You absolutely must try their homemade clam chowder as well. The full bar offers a fantastic selection. Visit this place; you won't regret it!

Now about the service: our server, Matt, was outstanding. His attentiveness was impressive, and he provided excellent recommendations. We will definitely be happy to see him again. Thank you, Waterfront, for such a wonderful experience—we look forward to returning soon!

Sumo Salad is always a fantastic option. The clam chowder is excellent, and the clam strips are delicious. It's a consistently great place to visit.

I visit this restaurant every week because their sushi reminds me of the flavors I enjoyed while living in Japan. If you're not a fan of raw fish, they will sear the top for you. The staff is incredibly friendly, and the prices are reasonable.
