Grumpy Goat Tavern - West Des Moines

We started with the Mozzarella cheese bites, which were fried to perfection, and they came with ranch and marinara for dipping. My wife ordered pancakes and eggs with a side of bacon, which she found to be very good. I opted for the chicken dish, which had a nice kick to it. My only complaint was that the chicken breast seemed a bit small. We will definitely be returning!

I had never been to this restaurant before, but I definitely plan to return. My sister and her family, who live in the Des Moines area, visited for the first time and they've already gone back. The service was excellent, the food was delicious, and they strictly adhere to all COVID guidelines. My niece particularly enjoyed the 80s music they played!
