Bidrage med feedbackAs far as pilots go it 's sub par. Employees are nice and helpful but store looks run down and in need of a good scrubbing. Coffee area was out of almost all the creamers, only 1 Coffee pot with coffee left in it while the others sat empty. Restroomswere ok, but could use a good cleaning instead of the standard push the dirt around with a mop routine. Biggest problem hereis parking, they let non backing no skilled or lazy steering wheel holders park in fire lanes and along drive blocking ormaking it almost impossible to back around them into actual parking spots.(plenty of open spots to back in at the time, steering wheel holders just to lazy to back into them) giving the respectful and skilled drivers a bad name.
I?m usually able to get in get out. Place is clean. Most of the time the employees are courteous. I had a chance to see the showers today as the womens room was closed for cleaning. I?d never seen truck stop showers but in case anyone is coming throughthis area- i was pleased to see this in good condition clean. I?m sure not all are like this. I didn?t test the shower but thesink worked the water seemed to remain a good temp. Thank you to all our truckers out there! I hope this helps you or avan-lifer out there!
The manager, Tyler, was extremely rude and refused to refund or exchange a $95 outdated product. He wouldn't provide his last name and showed a complete lack of concern for the situation, even appearing hostile. There’s a QT just down the street on the other side of I-26, and I strongly recommend going there instead.
This Pilot is enormous! Despite its size, the place is very clean and has a wide variety of options. Inside, you'll find a Dairy Queen, Wendy's, and a Cinnabon. The Cinnabon is right by the main entrance, but it’s on the smaller side, so make sure to arrive early to snag the good stuff. The area around Wendy's and Dairy Queen can get chaotic and messy during peak hours, so be careful where you step. Note that Cinnabon is closed on Sundays, which is a bummer since we missed out and ended up grabbing a bite at Wendy's instead. The service there was quick, and the food was cooked to perfection. You have to try the hot honey chicken—it's amazing!
We stopped at the Pilot Center for gas while on our trip along I-26. We grabbed some coffee from the Pilot side, and it was excellent—not weak at all, which is a plus for me. They had a variety of snack options available, including prepackaged cakes, boiled peanuts, cold drinks, and more. There was also a Dairy Queen and Cinnabon section, along with a Wendy's. We ordered a Dave's Double Burger and a baked potato topped with cheese and bacon. Both were delicious! If you're in need of refreshments or snacks while traveling, this stop is definitely worth it.
