Hite's -b-que - West Columbia

West Columbia is the center of South Carolina’s BBQ universe. Hite’s is the granddaddy of them all.

Small BBQ shop. Pick up only. Plates or larger portions to go. There are picnic tables outside beside a nice pond. No covered seating. The portions are large. You can get BBQ pork, chicken or ribs. $11 Plates includes rice and hash, roll and 1 side. Dessert is $2. We got banana creme pudding. Drinks are in the cooler. Very good BBQ. I added some vinegar sauce to mine. I will definitely be back to support a local family business!

Stop by before closing ordered 2 meals Togo chicken pork. Ordered some ribs on the side. Chicken was excellent smoky, tender fall off bone tasty. Hash over rice was different very tasty. Chopped pork was ok, fresh meat some smoke. Green beans baked beans all good. Ribs had a bite on the bark tender inside, sweet red sauce. They also have the mustard version. Large portions reasonably prices. A hidden gem.
