Cavu Coffee - West Chester

Excellent experience here. We were here on a work meeting and Ray gave us espectacular service!

I've been to Cavu twice and have loved it each time. It's a classic coffee shop vibe with warm, friendly staff and great offerings. The Headstart sandwich is yummy and the cappuccino was exactly what I needed to start my day. They also have a drive thru which is super convenient. I will be back whenever I am in the area.

I used to come here a lot but unfortunately prices have increased and service has decreased. I used to come in for coffee and either a baked good or breakfast sandwich spending around $10-12. Now that same order is pushing closer to $20. I get food prices have gone up but I think this out of control. The coffee has always been consistently a solid 8/10. Recently the food, specifically their breakfast sandwiches have gone down hill taste wise. The last two times I visited staff weren’t very welcoming and seemed overall unhappy. I used to love coming here with friends to show them a good coffee shop in the area but I can’t justify the price for the service received anymore. Very disappointing. Parking: Public parking in the plaza. Watch out for potholes.

Visiting from out of town and saw this had great reviews, so we assumed it would be really good. It was quite possibly one of the worst coffees I’ve ever had. We ordered 3 different lattes and all tasked like old, burnt coffee. I got the butterscotch latte half sweet and the drink was so burnt tasting, thick and syrupy, it was undrinkable. No one drank their coffee and we had to resort to a chain. It was a waste of money. Hopefully this was a one off.
