La Raza Supermarket - West Carrollton

My husband and I went to La Raza for breakfast. Grub Hub had breakfast menu $6.99 beans and coffee included. When we got there looked at the menu breakfast was $8.99 and no coffee. The waitress said they did not serve coffee. We ordered our $8.99 breakfast and just water so we thought by the menu. When my husband started to pay at register they charged us $10.99. When my husband confronted the waitress she said they go by the register not the menu they have on table. Needless to say we will not be going back there. Be Ware!!

This restaurant is so Mexican that they have Spanish style tables and chairs and they don't even serve coffee unless you drink Nescafé I suggest trying them out for an authentic Mexican cuisine!

A hidden local gem of a place. I was a bit hesitant at first but boy my impression of the restaurant changed completely after tasting their food. The menu is huge and The food tasted amazing. Everything we ordered was fresh, flavorful. The staff are polite and friendly but you might need to use translator on your phone. They also have a super market, where the produce was fresh. They have an awesome chili (peppers) collection. We got the Chimichanga (5/5) fried to perfection with a ton of flavor. The grilled chicken was very good as well but a tad bit dry (4/5). The tacos were the bomb, I got Barbacoa and Alpastor (5/5) both were amazing. The fried plantains were so delicious and I could see them taking a fresh plantain from the super market after we placed our order. The sauces were spicy, flavorful and complimented the dishes. The decor of the place might not be as modern but damn the flavors will send impress you. I highly recommend this local place and I would go again.

Took co-workers here and they loved it. Why one less star? It was super busy and the waitress forgot a lot of things... like our sauces. The food was also a little more overcooked than last time I was here. The flavor was there but meats were a little dry.

Great food great service! super quick! I got food while waiting for the vet to check my dog and I was back in time to pick him up! Awesome place and delicious! There is also another store called La Raza with the same menu and very thing but slightly different address. I think both are the same place. Either way, check this out!
