The Blue Anchor - West Byfleet

The accomodation was handy to were we had parked our car at Weybridge but the room was clean and bed comfortable. Their was tea and coffee facilities in our room, towels but we were unsure if we would be charged for the breakfast basket which contained instant porridge and muesli bars as there was no chef available until 12 to have a cooked breakfast if that was available. We had to phone the owner to pay for our room as no-one was on site as we didn't see anyone until we saw a handy man in the car park who phoned someone( the owner) as we were told no-one would be around until 11ish to check out. This is not suitable if you wanted to leave early like we wanted

The staff here the two lads behind the bar were absolutely brilliant. Me and my wife came in for a meal and was treated very well couldn't fault the service... Service: 5 Location: 5

The pub is decent, but the hotel is quite disappointing. There was a hole in the window of my room for some reason. The staff said they would try to cover it, but I wasn't expecting much and ended up with nothing. The room was freezing at night. Additionally, the claim of offering breakfast in the morning is misleading; if you stay for more than one night, they won't replenish your instant porridge, even if you ask. Overall, I would rate the rooms a 1.

Classic pub with carpeting, friendly staff, and a lovely garden that features a small playground for children. Service: 4/5 Location: 4/5
