Bidrage med feedbackSo... you may know me as Sonny . I 've been coming to Spyglass since the weeks immediately following the lockdown. I would grab cans out back after ordering on their app. During covid, I was cooking regularly on my smokers and found their beers paired well with many of my cooks. Then the tap room reopened, and I got to know the people, many of whom are still there. Then, a new era dawned, and it moved to new digs at exit 1. Well, let me tell you.....the beer is always top quality, the building is nice and they are making improvements. There 's outside seating, and the kitchen pumps out consistent quality brewery food! Chat with the customers and the employees (their biggest asset) and the owners. You won 't be sorry.
This is a very nice brewery at the now much larger and spacious location. They have a nice lineup of beers? I particularly like the Czech dark lager. The food menu is limited but what they have is very good.
Chicken BLT with house fries was epic. The Chicken thigh confit was cooked to perfection, the house condiments amazing potato roll rounded out possibly the best Sandwich in New England.
Don 't give them your credit card .. and if you do .. don 't forget it there; they 'll add a 20% tip. At last call I ordered a beer and cuban sandwich to which the guy said put it on your tab? .. Yes. But he should have closed out the tab and returned my card. Instead, half way home I get a text from Visa for the charge .. Beer and Food were good, but this practice of holding on to your card feels like a scam.
Pros: Spyglass has both shaded and unshaded outdoor or seating available, which is nice depending on how much sun you want. Inside is roomy and comfortable. The soft pretzel was hot and fresh with a zingy horseradish mustard (did not try the up charged beer cheese), and easy to share between three people. If you’re an IPA drinker, you have plenty of options to choose from. Many sizes available (small, medium and large for most beers). Plenty of parking is also available.Cons: The location is a bit far from the main areas of Nashua in an industrial park. If you’re NOT an IPA drinker, your choices are limited and, from my experience, not very good. I was pleased to see two fruited seltzer options: pineapple mango, and blackberry lemon. I went with the blackberry lemon. This had absolutely no flavor, dis not seem to have any carbonation, and smelled oddly like tuna fish. It was honestly so off putting that instead of getting another round we left. I’ve never had a worse tasting hard seltzer. The quality was so poor that it wasn’t worth getting a taster of anything else. The buzzer for food didn’t work if you were seated outside because their “antennas were down”. A member of the staff did come out to find us, bit I imagine this would have been more of an issue if they had been busy.
