Subway - West Branch

The staff was exceptionally friendly and efficient. The food was fantastic!

On a Sunday evening in the middle of summer, there was only one staff member working, and he was not very quick. It took about 20 minutes to receive two footlongs and a six-inch sandwich. A sit-down restaurant would have been a better choice considering that wait time. As for parking, since this location is attached to a Shell gas station, you're limited to gas station parking.

When I went in to order, I tried asking for a suggestion on a sub with just bacon and cheese. She told me I had to choose a sub first. I inquired about the cheapest sub option after removing everything except for the bacon, and she responded, "Lady, I have no idea what you are talking about. What sub do you want?" At that point, I was quite frustrated and simply said I wanted a bacon sub. She then told me she couldn't do that, so I just walked away. I understand I needed to name a specific sub, but I was hoping to find the easiest one to make. I didn't want to pay for a Philly cheesesteak when my picky eater son would only eat bacon. Honestly, I've worked in the fast food and retail industry for the past two decades and have never encountered anyone as miserably rude and indifferent to customers as this employee. I thought maybe I was overreacting until my husband came outside and mentioned she also refused to make the cookie. After checking the reviews, I realized we were definitely not the only ones who had problems there.

$13 for a salad? Then I would think the bowl would be full. It was perhaps 25% less salad than any other Subway I've been to. And they always cut up the meat for the salad except here. I had to ask for a knife.

This was one of the worst places to eat subway at. The staff is negligent towards proportion of serving. Furthermore, the shutdown the table area and put a small sign restricting the eating by space. I missed the sign and sat there anyway by mistake. I was asked in the middle of my meal to get up and leave immediately. I feel even pressured to leave the premise. I agree that my mistake was to miss the sign, but the staff completely ignored common decency towards customers.Please come here to get insulted and eat bad subway
