Good to find a traditional village pub that is totally unspoilt. If you've booked for a meal here unsighted, don't be put off by first appearances when you walk through the door as the food is wonderful, especially the Sunday roast. The rhubarb crumble is cosmic. Such friendly helpful place to eat. Looking at the menu there was nothing I could eat due to my food intolerances. They made me a gorgeous tagine which was delicious. Great selection of gins and great beer. Welcomed the dog as well which was a big bonus as we were in a holiday cottage so we couldn’t leave him at home. Thank you for making us feel so welcomed.
