The Hunter's Wife - Wenatchee

Tandi, Mel, and the fantastic team at The Hunter's Wife exceeded our expectations, and our experience was nothing short of amazing. I highly recommend them if you're looking for excellent vegan catering for your next event. The food was out-of-this-world good—truly beyond my wildest dreams. Even our non-vegan guests loved it! The presentation was stunning, with each dish beautifully plated, making us excited to dig in. And when we took that first bite, we were blown away by the incredible flavors and textures. Here was our fabulous menu (try not to drool!): - **Cocktail Hour:** Abundance platter and compassion platter (details are on their website) - **Appetizer:** Assorted cheese-stuffed dates, pesto zucchini sliders, and walnut chorizo roll-ups - **Salad:** Local greens with lemon dressing - **Soup:** Miso cucumber mint gazpacho garnished with cashew sour cream - **Entrée:** Portobello mushroom stuffed with marinara sauce and risotto, accompanied by garlic bread and mashed potatoes While they offered us dessert options, we decided to have wedding cake as our sole dessert. Speaking of the cake, The Hunter's Wife also baked it for us! I provided a few images and ideas, and they crafted a cake even more beautiful than I had imagined, perfectly fitting our wedding venue and theme. Plus, it tasted amazing! As for the service, it was fantastic. We had initially scheduled a tasting but couldn’t make it due to a snowstorm. Tandi assured us that our safety was the priority, which was greatly appreciated, especially since another vendor was quite upset with us. When we rescheduled, the tasting went exceptionally well. There were countless options, and with Tandi’s guidance, we crafted a menu that aligned with our vision. We were somewhat indecisive, saying, "We love everything; do whatever you want!" Tandi helped us refine our theme and create a cohesive and delicious menu featuring all our favorites. On the day of the event, Mel and her team arrived early with everything they needed. Each course was served promptly and met the highest standards. By the end of the evening, they had left the kitchen spotless, as if they had never been there. Everyone from my family who worked with them was extremely impressed by their kindness and professionalism. The only minor issue I encountered was occasionally reaching Tandi during the planning phase, as she was busy with numerous projects. However, I trusted her and Mel to handle everything properly, so this wasn’t a significant problem for us. I also want to highlight their exceptional attention to allergies. My mother has a life-threatening coconut allergy and is allergic to a few other common vegan ingredients. For anyone who is vegan, you know how challenging it is to avoid coconut. The team was incredibly knowledgeable and made special versions of each dish for my mom, ensuring they contained no allergens. She enjoyed the meal without any reactions, and I'm so grateful to them for being flexible and allowing my mom to enjoy such a special day without health concerns. I cannot recommend the amazing team at The Hunter's Wife enough for delicious catering at your next big event!

The staff was very helpful, and the tables were clean. The food was fresh, and the waffles were amazing. This place is a great addition to healthy dining options in Wenatchee.
