Great place to drink. a visit is worthwhile in the welwyn garden town. highly recommended!

Updated my review after 2 more visit with a much improved experience with the customer service. not sure whether there are personal changes or training, but a great improvement and seemed fair to reflect that when adding an additional star. the staff was friendly and the food arrived quickly. my only grip was the lack of menu options that I selected was my third choice after it was said that they had no cake or fish options (was ordered by 15 o'clock on Sunday).

Amazing pub in the heart of the welwyn garden town. was here recently and sat on the sun terrace, the sun covers the terrace from sun to sunset. we had a couple of burgers to die for. Actually, one of the best pub food I've had for a long time. the personal was fantastic and super attentive. we had the best day, thanks to the whole team involved to make our visit so beautiful.

Beautiful pub directly in the city center, decent beer garden also. the drinks are cheap and the variety of food on the menu is quite good. beth and amy are both amazing employees. both very friendly and accommodating. would recommend a quick lunch or dinner.

This pub located in the heart of the town has a touch of history to it. We were greeted warmly by the friendly bar staff upon our arrival. We ordered starters and a main course, but were disappointed when our nachos were served barely warm. Despite the chef's explanation that the cold toppings had cooled the tortillas, we found them and the melted cheese to be cold. However, the barmaid quickly replaced our starter with a well-cooked alternative and even gave us the price difference back. Our main courses were delicious. One small tip: don't forget to take your parking ticket with you, as it can be redeemed at the bar. Overall, a lovely pub with great staff.
