Seaworld - Welwyn Hatfield

Really crispy light batter on a decent sized medium cod which was chunky flakes of moist served with a generous portion of crunchy fluffy chips. This plaice is consistently serving great fayre.

Firm favourites are the fish chips, cheese burgers (love the burger sauce), chicken nuggets, saveloy shish. Great service too.

I’ve visited Seaworld over a number of years but unfortunately it seems recently it’s taken a sharp nosedive. The customer service is very poor/non existent and the food has an overly greasy feel. Will avoid from now.

Good food, sensibly priced, but it's a week before Christmas and we left the queue outside after seeing the tall guy dishing out all the food with his mask pulled down under his chin (insulting) and several others wearing them pulled down under their noses and them allowing people to wait in the shop with no masks on...no thank you! Omicron, Delta and Covid are real, highly transmissible and we don't want to spend Christmas in hospital or isolated thanks...so either wear them properly or you won't be getting our business until you do. We left the queue and drove to the fish n chip shop in the town centre who were wearing their masks correctly and not allowing anyone to wait inside without a mask. Hope you sort it our as you're our local and we'd much rather buy from you.

I have been going to this chip shop since I moved to wgc in 2012. They are consistently excellent. I don’t like battered fish but my kids say it’s perfect and the chips are the best chip ship chips I’ve had. A great mega cheap dinner, they always have loads of people which just shows how good they are.
