Bidrage med feedbackOur group has been frequenting this restaurant for a while because the food is definitely worth the trip. Unfortunately, we've noticed a decline in the staff's manners. Despite the crowded atmosphere, we didn't mind waiting for our courses. The food remains excellent and is well worth the journey. However, a few staff members could benefit from being more friendly, accommodating, and responsive to simple requests. It wouldn't hurt to see a smile or receive a little help. We'll chalk it up to the busy night and will give them another chance in December.
Recently had a family dinner with a total of 8 people including kids, parents, and grandparents. It can be challenging to cater to such a diverse group, but the food was excellent and the service was very attentive. We will definitely be returning in the future.
We were greeted warmly and received helpful recommendations from the staff regarding our meal choices and any allergies. We thoroughly enjoyed the flavorful and spicy dishes.
I came here very recently with my mum and dad on a Saturday so naturally it was very busy. We were greeted by who I assume was the manager, he had no patience rushed us to our table and bordered on disrespectful in the way in which he spoke to us; as it was busy we assumed this was because of pressures from the environment. After 10 minutes we were asked for drinks, after saying water you are immediately treated as a low priority customer, there were several other tables which had ordered wine or beer etc. and every care was made to ensure that they weren’t waiting for very long and we’re overall were treated far better. After ordering it took just over an hour for our food to come, we ordered a starter which never appeared either. Once our plates were brought over I was given a dirty plate, obviously the restaurant was busy but the lack of care was shocking, especially as this wasnt a small mark but a large fry lump of curry on the plate. Our waiter whom I do believe was the manager as I stated earlier took trouble to ask every other table who had a bottle of wine how their food was, if they were enjoying the food and so on, not a single word was said to us even after making eye-contact with me twice and walking past our table. Eventually after finishing our food our plates were cleared and I asked for the bill, on the bill we were charged for our started which never came and a bottle of white wine, with the cheek of adding on a service charge. Immediately I spoke to the lovely lady at the front who sorted out our bill and was apologetic (the best customer service all night) the bill was then sorted, we paid and left. Overall the food here is exceptional and is some of the best food going, it is a complete shame that the kitchen is let down by such poor poor customer service and quite frankly such a rude manager. If you do decide to eat here do not come on a weekend unless you want to buy several bottles of wine otherwise you are treated like you are doing the restaurant a service by being there.
Lovely for a special occasion as the setting and views is beautiful. The service is very good and the prices are reasonable. The restaurant has been there for years which says alot. My only criticism is that some dishes had too much sugar added. They didn't need to do this, the sauces and breads were lovely in themselves without adding so much sugar.
