Bidrage med feedbackGreat menu, friendly staff and good looking food. I had the creamy mushrooms with crispy kale, hazelnut coconut crumb. The mushrooms were deliciously rich and creamy. The bread that came with the dish was a bit weird I think they were thick slices of brioche? I’m not used to eating really soft white bread, so it wasn’t my thing, but some people will be into it. Would love to try their other dishes, especially the bowls.
I absolutely love this place! My absolute favorite is the vegan flux bowl. It is delish, filling, healthy, and full of flavor. I recommend getting in early as during lunch hours they tend to sell out quick!
**WHOLESOME REVIEW ALERT** As a Wellingtonian, I'm proud to say we have the best coffee in the country, and a big reason for that is our amazing cafes like The Lab. They truly capture the vibrant spirit of our wonderful capital and serve it to you piping hot (and generously!). I’ve been visiting The Lab in Press Hall since starting university and have also explored their other locations, each with its own unique charm. The team is incredibly welcoming, the food is prepared with high-quality ingredients, and their coffee is simply iconic. My coconut flat white always hits the spot! I've never had a disappointing meal (their cheese scones are divine!), and I keep coming back because of the staff's commitment to providing excellent service. I highly recommend this cafe—keep up the fantastic work, team!
The atmosphere is fantastic, and the staff is incredibly friendly. The food is exceptionally delicious. I sampled the earth bowl and was truly impressed by the flavors and the quality of the dish.
