Drake Devonshire - Wellington

I made a reservation at The Devonshire last Saturday for brunch with a group of 14, and I cannot speak highly enough about our dining experience. Our server, Mel, was outstanding. The food was incredibly tasty (we highly recommend The Good Egg Breakfast and the scones). The cocktails were innovative, delicious, and refreshing. Despite our large group, the food arrived promptly. Overall, we had a perfect 10/10 dining experience. I would highly recommend this restaurant!

The food was incredible and the service was excellent with a smile. There was live music by a talented musician, and after eating, you could sit by the lake with a bonfire to stay warm. As a vegetarian, I found satisfying meals with fresh vegetables. It was a memorable retirement dinner with my family.

Foods were little bland, under seasoned you might say. Plating was nice! Looks amazing! And the scenery was just fantastic! Great view of the lake and a private beach. You could enjoy the sun with sun bench!

We were fortunate to secure a table by the waterfront with fantastic views and a beautiful interior. Our only issue was the pesky mosquitoes at 2 in the afternoon. The lunch menu is a bit limited and portions are on the smaller side. We encountered some billing issues at the end, but the service was excellent overall. The cocktails were delicious.

Chic environment and stunning view. Access to beach front while dinning, with and come and go to your table option. Very accommodating and well kept grounds. However, the price does reflect the standards they seem to maintain.
