Polo Grill - Wellington

The food is phenomenal, the service on point and the atmosphere is modern and fresh. I love the patio, and the view is unmatched in Wellington. A definite favorite.

I had a fantastic time celebrating my friend's birthday! Tom Blake provided excellent service, making the occasion even more special.

I attempted to take my mother out for dinner, but we were turned away without any explanation. We waited for about 20 minutes without being approached about water, drinks, or anything else. There was no apology or reassurance that service would be forthcoming. I’m giving it 3 stars not because I want to severely damage the restaurant's rating, but to highlight what seems to be an issue with the staff. There were four hostesses present, yet only around two waiters and a bartender on duty. The four hostesses at the front desk appeared to be doing very little work.

The servers and hosts were incredibly friendly during our visit. We arrived late on a Friday night and ordered sliders and crab cakes, both of which were delicious. The wine selection was diverse, but I opted for a Pineapple Tail Shot Peach Mule, which was served in an adorable vintage vodka bottle that added charm to my drink. Just a heads-up: the restaurant is located in the polo fields, and if you’re unfamiliar with the area, the roads can be quite dark at night. I recommend being cautious with directions. That said, the area is generally beautiful and safe.
