Piatto Bravo - Wellington

The restaurant itself is lovely. Great ambiance decor. The food is outstanding. Which is what keeps me coming back because the last times we dined there, the service was HORRIBLE. The wait staff is very nice but I'm not sure if they are under trained, under staffed or just don't care. Long waits for food drinks not checking in with the table or apologizing after waiting more than a half hour for appetizers. Taking a drink order not returning with it in a reasonable amount of time. And then there was a fellow, who said he was one of the owners...he should be ashamed. Gave us misinformation on a drink special, and instead of offering to give us our drinks on the house due to this, he just laughed it off said they don't tell me anything. Also, while it seemed his entire staff was in the weeds he just sat at the bar schmoozing some lady friend. The saving grace for this place really is how good the food is

First time and was for nieces bdTerrible terrible service Even the owner or manager was there and didn’t ask us how things were etc but he did help other tables. He did bring a to go box. He should’ve come talk to the bill payer...me! Never did get my coffee. The first cocktail was like water. The food was very good. I think kitchen help was trying to Bartend. One server. God love her. Ridiculous

Great food. Good service. But playing loud hard rock on a Christmas Eve dinner was not what we were expecting

Worst server of all time. Took mins for apps to arrive not reason why she's the worst . Ordered the app flatbread with porcini mushroom, truffle.oil, parmesan cheese and mozzerella cheese. It sounded great, but what came out almost an hour after was basically the free bread they served but with truffle oil, no exaggeration. When I was able.to get the waitress's attention, constant struggle I mentioned that I thought it was supposed to have mushrooms. She looked at me as if I were speaking a foreign language, and said no, and then asked me if I knew what a Flatbread was. Hmm, okOur drinks were finished long before our apps came, and she never even asked us if we'd like another drink. So, before any of our food came out, we had empty cocktail glasses, and not once did she ask if we'd Ike another.Entries came out short while after apps, thank goodness because it had now been close to an hour and quarter and I was hungry,lol. At least the entrees were good which is probably the only reason why I'd consider possible take out in the future.I will add that AFTER I made a comment to the waitress again, she said that she had checked with the chef and that the mushrooms were blended in. Yup, thats what she said, lol. They took it off the tab which was a good call, but a little late

Service was a little rough with a young waitress who dropped glasses of water on her tray on one of my dinner companions as she served a drink to my husband. But the food made up for that. Nostro Cauliflower, roasted, with an aurora sauce, bacon, and peas was heavenly. The Argentine pizza was just delicious, and the leftovers were even better the next day
