Franco Italian Bistro - Wellington

Vegetarian options: As a vegetarian, I had plenty of options.

This return trip to Franco's was a bit disappointing! The cocktails were fabulous and we had them at the bar! They were very accommodating as we had outdoor reservations but it was so hot they sat us indoors at our request! The service was good! The food not as delicious as it has been! My friends clams in white sauce, she said was very salty, my mussels in white garlic sauce, very dry and my other friends chicken dinner was delicious she said! The wine was very good! Will give it another try in a while

Franco's is one of my favorite restaurants. Espresso martinis top notch. They start you with complimentary bruschetta. Outstanding. We ordered calamari appetizer which is terrific. I had Cacio E Pepe and other diner had Penne alla Vodka. Both were great and came out steaming hot. We appreciate that. Tiramisu and cappuccino for desert. What's not to like? Service was impeccable too. We'll be back for sure.

Excellent waiter. Went out of his way to accommodate us. The hostess staff was also delightful and very efficient. Food however, was overly sauced under seasoned. Salad was warm! (This was not supposed to be a warm salad ! It also had no taste. Tartufo dessert was also pretty blah. Unless they change it be aware that it is not vanilla and or chocolate ice cream. It is pistachio sans nuts.

Every neighborhood needs a place like Franco’s where the atmosphere is warm, the staff know your name and treat you like they appreciate your business … and the food is just spectacular. Couldn’t recommend the place more highly.
