The menu may be small, but it offers excellent quality. The atmosphere is incredibly inviting, with spacious outdoor and indoor dining areas that are beautifully designed. The indoor space is softly illuminated, with each table featuring a small lamp, charming salt and pepper shakers, and real plants and flowers. The bathrooms were generous in size, clean, and well-maintained. The service was exceptional, truly going the extra mile. Our table frequently required water, but thanks to the attentive server and bus staff, we were never left waiting. Our server Farrah not only checked on us multiple times during each course but also shared interesting stories about the restaurant’s history. We ordered appetizers, main courses, and desserts, and the restaurant excelled in creating delicious sauces throughout the meal. The lemon aioli accompanying the calamari was the highlight of that dish—light and fluffy, with just the right amount of citrus. The pickled Fresno pepper added an exciting kick without overwhelming the dish, providing a subtle flavor enhancement. The carrot appetizer was well-crafted, presenting the whole carrot rather than the usual pre-cut wedges. It was accompanied by a rich arugula pesto that was balanced perfectly with a hint of balsamic reduction. We savored every bit of the sauce; even our friend, who typically isn't fond of arugula, enjoyed this pesto. The addition of tomatoes was delightful. The papas bravas were served as perfectly crispy baby potatoes, seasoned just right. Instead of being uniformly coated, the seasoning was artfully concentrated on top, allowing for a burst of flavor with each bite. These were, without a doubt, some of the best potatoes I’ve had all year. One of my friends, who usually dislikes kimchi, found the kimchi on my fried chicken sandwich surprisingly enjoyable. It was milder than most, which prevented it from clashing, and it added a fun twist to a classic American dish. The accompanying sauce complemented the sandwich perfectly. By this point in the meal, I had high expectations, and the offerings didn’t disappoint. The sauces on the burger and lamb lollipops were fantastic as well. The coleslaw was not overwhelmed with mayo; instead, it reminded me of curtido, the traditional slaw served with pupusas, which was a refreshing change from the typical cookout variety. It was clear that everything about the dessert was homemade, including the jam. The blueberry cheesecake was served in a jar rather than as a slice. The layers, from the bottom up, consisted of graham crust, sweet jam, a tangy cheesecake base, and fresh blueberries on top. We left no remnants in the jar by the time we finished. Overall, the entire meal felt like something straight from grandma’s kitchen. Every detail was meticulously thought out, filled with charming touches, creating a delightful contrast to the spontaneous decision we made to dine here. Sometimes, things really do happen for a reason.
I just had dinner at The Fox and Crow, and it was a delightful experience from beginning to end! The service was excellent—thank you, Farrah! The food was fabulous, thanks to Matthew. The location is beautiful, too. Trudy (sp?) has crafted a wonderful dining experience that truly stands out on the Cape. My wife and I can be quite picky at times, but we wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant without any reservations! Thank you to everyone at The Fox and Crow!

This restaurant truly boasts an exceptional kitchen—it's a must-try for food enthusiasts. The creative dishes are not only delicious but also beautifully presented. We sampled four appetizers and three main courses, and I can confidently say we didn’t encounter any disappointments among the seven dishes. The Dirt Farm salad was the best salad we've had in years. The calamari were clearly fresh, with a batter reminiscent of fine tempura. A baby carrot appetizer might sound simple, but the sauce made it an unexpected standout. The braised short ribs were everything you hope for: incredibly tender and flavorful, just as they should be. The main course of cod was delightful, featuring a five-star piece of fish. Although our group didn't include any vegans, we all agreed that the eggplant confit was a beautiful blend of flavors and well worth ordering. The ambiance and service were excellent, and the wine list was diverse and reasonably priced. Fox and Crow is lucky to have one of Cape Cod's finest chefs. They also take vegetarian options seriously, catering well to vegan preferences.
