The luxurious chicken sandwich is a must-have when visiting this restaurant; it is absolutely delicious. It is also reasonably priced compared to many other places in the area.

Love their chicken strips. My sister and I often go when we have a 2 for offer. Last few times we went, the options were pretty limited though. Out of specific things, namely the dipping sauces (there was 3 options for choice including tarter… not really much of a pairing for chicken as much as fish in my opinion) and drinks. Hopefully this is just a limited time issue, and they’ll have more of an option at this location soon.

Standard fare from this chain. Chicken was crispy and fresh. Service was excellent. Free parking a bonus.

We eat a lot of chicken at home, in restaurants, and at fast-food joints - fried, broasted, baked, grilled, BBQed, in wraps & salads, on a bun, ... Even at the most popular chicken joints, the deep-fried chicken, whether on its own or in a sandwich, is often greasy. At Popeye's, we found the fried chicken, "Louisianna style", far less greasy. The lightly coated skin was almost greaseless, thin, golden & crispy, and very good. The chicken itself was perfectly cooked, moist and tender; the pieces a bit larger than KFC or Swiss Chalet. The chicken tenders were also perfectly cooked & crisp, and my wife's order came with an extra strip. The selection of dipping sauces, almost all of them spicy, was bewildering !I had the mashed potatoes with gravy as a side, but the gravy was not the usual fare. Instead it was not as thick, was flecked with spices and just a tiny bit spicy. The coleslaw side was not a shredded version, but a chunky mix and not particularly good.However, the biscuits were amazing - light, fluffy & delicious, served without butter. I asked for butter and was given a small takeout dish that the server filled with a liquid concoction out of a non-refrigerated jug. Definitely not butter !It was nothing special, with the exception of the chicken and the biscuits, but we'd certainly have those again - maybe for a picnic outing.
