Cool Licks Ice Cream Parlour - Welland

Hi everyone. After having an expensive dinner at a nearby restaurant, my family decided to have a more affordable dessert at Cool Licks. Despite the large crowd and busy parking lot, the service was quick thanks to the 4-5 staff members working that night. The ice cream was delicious with a variety of flavors and reasonable prices. Although the location in the southern part of town seemed questionable to me at first, being next to a fire station and seeing families around made me feel relatively safe.

This restaurant offers a diverse range of flavors, including both hard and soft ice cream served in various types of cones. They also have a selection of yogurt flavors available. The ice cream here is considered the best in the Niagara region. The service is top-notch, despite the long lines. The staff is efficient and ensures that customers are served quickly. My personal favorite is the Black Cherry flavor, while my husband enjoys their banana splits.

I visited the restaurant a few days ago and ordered two shakes and a banana split. I was disappointed to see that the person making the shakes took a drink from the mixer before making the next shake. Additionally, they did not use gloves when handling my bananas. This was unsanitary and unappetizing. I will not be returning to this restaurant.

I have tried every Ice Cream store in the Niagara Peninsula in the last 4 or 5 years and Cool Licks wins Hands down from the Great Service to Great Tort and Pastry and their delicious Ice Cream I would make sure that you visit them if you are in the area!!They also have the absolutely best Soft Ice Cream especially their Strawberry Sundae'sThey Beat Dairy Queen Hands Down

Lots of flavours, friendly staff, but long lineups. Place is a little dated but all in all it is a decent ice cream place with great staff. If you pay by debit they charge extra 25 cents just so you know.
