A hidden gem in the heart of Wedmore. Unassuming from the outside, there is always a warm welcome from the team and the secret treasure of a lovely garden at the back.The interior is like an old farm house kitchen, well spaced tables and flagstone floor.Food at Nanny Idas is honest, freshly prepared and generous in portions. It 's a definite 'go to ' place for me, either breakfast, cream tea (belt busting! or lunch.We love it!

We discovered this restaurant online for Sunday breakfast and arrived on our motorcycles. Luckily, we found parking right outside. The restaurant has a charmingly quirky, retro style and the staff gave us a very friendly welcome. The service was lovely and the meals tasted great and were reasonably priced. We chose to sit in the well-kept garden on this hot, sunny day, although there was also indoor seating available. The tables had parasols and the trees and bushes provided some shade. We could hear the church bells chiming in the background, adding to the nice atmosphere. We highly recommend this place and will definitely be back again.
