Stave Still, Webster Ma

Served was very attentive but sadly a little bit of a disaster- didn’t have half things on the menu that we tried to order and didn’t love the food this time.

My husband and I visited Stave Still this past weekend and all I can say is wow! The bartender Sophia was doing absolutely everything servicing the tables, making drinks, seating people, and all with the biggest smile I have ever seen. The chef, Jessica, who was apparently also one of the owners was right in there with Sophia helping out all while cooking the most fantastic food we have ever had. And let me tell you it was BUSY!! These two women were the definition of female empowerment and I honestly felt like I got dinner and a show watching the two of them work. Every time Sophia came to our table she was so kind and attentive despite being so busy plus the drinks were phenomenal. I seriously was so blown away! As a service industry member myself I understand how incredibly difficult it is to get staff these days and the fact that these women were making it happen and providing us with a phenomenal experience is just astonishing. Something needs to change for our service industry folks these small businesses are suffering because no one is there to service people. We all want to go out to dinner and then complain when things take long NEWS FLASH: it’s because NO ONE WANTS TO WORK! Anyway please have kindness the next time you dine out anywhere but I highly recommend checking out Stave Still. Even if you have to wait it is more than worth it and honestly made for such a relaxing un rushed evening. From one service lady to two others you’re killing it!!

Love this place! So many creative things on the menu and one of the few places I'll bother ordering a cocktail. Save room for desser... the smoked ice cream is amazing and memorable, though the bread pudding is also great. We made reservations for a Saturday night for a table of 6. Parking was pretty easy on street and we were seated right away. Food was delicious and the cocktails were just as equally. Staffing seemed to be an issue but we weren't in a rush anyway and it made for a nice drawn out dinner with friends. Service: Dine in Price per person: $50–100
