Bidrage med feedbackGood smoothies but I just pulled up out because they are still mandating masks feel grown adults shouldn 't have the liberty to make their own decisions.
Came here 2 times when they said they were open and both times they’re closed. Drove 20 mins here…pretty annoyed.
My wife and I loved this place until today. If anything can describe awkward and hostile it would be our visit today. The girl was rude, didn’t care to greet anyone at the door and then looked upset that she even had to take an order. Been a fan of yall for years now, but today yall really changed my view on this business. I called and asked for a manager. They said they don’t even know when he’s going to come around and proceeded to ask why I wanted to speak with him like she didn't already know. Then when I asked for her name she said she couldn’t give it to me . Anyways. This was just a bad experience overall. Such a shame a good business has let ignorant workers ruin long time coming customer’s experience. Promise y’all it used to slap!
I love Smoothie Depot. I have been going here for several years. I used to go to the one off of Fuqua but since I have moved I go to the location in Webster. I rave about Smoothie Depot to my clients and my family! However, after the experience I had today, I am debating on if I will even return to Smoothie Depot. Usually the owner is very friendly. Today there was a young lady who I have never seen before. When I came in I said “Hello” because I could not see anyone inside. My mother (who was trying Smoothie Depot for the first time) didn’t hear or see anyone as well so she said “hello” in a friendly manner. I walk up the checkout counter and the young lady at the front said to us “I said hello”. I tell the young lady, “I apologize, I did not hear you.” I order my drink, and at this point my mother was already turned off and no longer wanted to order her smoothie because of the way the young lady said “I said hello”. We waited for my smoothie. It took 10 minutes for her to make my choco wicked smoothie. Once she said it was ready, I went to the checkout counter, she handed me my drink and said “Please tell your mom not to force me to say hello”………I told her “My mom only said hello once because we didn’t know if someone was here, we weren’t trying to be hostile or rude at all. We were just trying to greet whomever was here.” The young lady said “Well, I’m just saying” and looked at me very rudely. My response was “have a good day”. I then returned my smoothie to her because I didn’t want it anymore. Why would I? Moral of my story is as a business owner myself. It should not feel like a task to say hello to a guest when they walk into YOUR building. You should never feel “forced” to say hello because as an employee that is your job, and lastly you should never tell someone “tell your mom…” when that person is standing right next to you. Tell her yourself.
Pretty sure the guy who made my smoothie forgot the peanut butter in the strawbinator. I thought it was the signature drink how could he forget 1 of the 3 ingredients?
