Let's be honest: this is not a restaurant you'd go to if you weren't at Pearson's terminal 1, US gates. That said, because I fly frequently, I've found to find this spot to be comfy and familiar, and if I'm not in a hurry I stop in for coffee and breakfast, or lunch and an especially overpriced beer. The service is largely nominal and perfunctory, but even if it's not friendly, it's fast and considerate of the fact you might be in a hurry to catch a flight. I appreciate that. The food is nothing exciting, but it's passable. Breakfast is hard to mess up, so I always enjoy that. The burgers and sandwiches are decent. Perhaps the best part is that it's large and comfortable. If you've got time to kill, it's as good a place as any to hide out
Terrible, they called it breakfast!! $12.00 for 3 hard eggs w/ pieces of what some call bacon, also came w/ a cold small piece of peameal bacon, gross. Waiter asked if I wanted fruit instead of homefries, that was a $3 option, no even fresh fruit oh don't forget $3 for a small coffee, 3 eggs, 3 pieces of bacon 1 coffee was $23.00, NEVER AGAIN will I eat here
Located in Terminal 1, this is an unremarkable place. Ordered the signature burger and wasn't impressed at all... There really isn't anything signature about it... Not sure if I like the onion rings as a burger topping either. The service, on the other hand, was pleasant and timely. If you are boarding at gates 90 and above, there is another sandwich place there which, I'm sure, isn't much better or worse.
Oh, Molson Pub. You are the lesser of all evils at the Toronto Airport. Are you looking for moderately tasty, relatively expensive food? You've come to the right place! To be fair, you _are_ in an airport and your other options are Starbucks and a sandwich place, soooo...eat up. The portions are generous, the waitress attentive enough. And if you've had a hell of a time getting the to the airport, it looks like the bar is open all day long. Yowza. The good: food that will fuel your transcontinental flight. The bad: they try to get you with the bottled water at the table. Don't drink it unless you want to be gouged.
