Chapala Mexican - Weaverville

The food and margaritas were excellent, but the service was terrible.

We stumbled upon this fantastic restaurant by chance. After exiting the highway filled with chain restaurants, we pulled into a strip mall to turn around and stumbled upon Chapala. The restaurant was bustling with Latinx workers on their lunch break, which was a promising sign. It didn't take long for us to realize why it was so crowded - the food was absolutely delicious. My beef Chimichangas were filled with tender beef tips that practically melted in my mouth, while my wife thoroughly enjoyed her spinach enchiladas. Chapala has now become a must-stop for us. Whenever we're in the area, we make sure to stop by.
