This cafe is my go-to spot. The weekly crafting group is friendly and enjoyable. I always feel welcomed by the staff and see familiar faces among the regular customers.

This café is not your typical establishment, it feels more like stepping into someone's cozy living room. Kate, the owner, is incredibly welcoming and goes out of her way to make sure you have a great experience. They offer a variety of crafts activities, such as knitting and crochet on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons. Whether you're a beginner or an expert, there's always someone friendly there to help. The cakes, coffee, tea, and toastie sandwiches are all top-notch. I give this place 5 stars.

I recently visited this cafe for a work gathering and was very impressed. The owner provided personal touches that made the experience even better. The service was excellent, with friendly staff who were also accommodating to our dietary restrictions. I ordered a cheese and tomato sandwich with a side salad and was pleasantly surprised by the generous portion size. The filling was thick and delicious, really elevating the sandwich. I definitely plan on coming back to this cafe soon. Thank you for a great experience!

We popped in for lunch. This is a small cafe with about 5 tables with chairs. There is a menu on the table and a small selection of lunch items such as jacket potatos with different fillings, toasties, sandwiches, poached egg on toast or baked beans on toast. I ordered poached eggs and my husband a jacket potato with grated cheddar cheese. He was asked if he wanted a side salad on the plate, he didn't! We also got a diet coke and a latte coffee which came quite quickly and were good. The jacket was good but my eggs were a bit overdone I love runny egg yolks when I have poached eggs the toast was a grainy one and very nice. There are also lots of items for sale in this cafe. Knitted hats, jewellery, cards, ornaments and other items. The lady who served us was very friendly and helpful.
