This was the best food we have had in ages hands down! The dining room is adorable, and the proprietors are pleasant and eager to ensure you enjoy your experience. Don't expect super fast chain restaurant/assembly line service: each meal is cooked to order, and this is evidenced by the painstaking attention to each dish's presentation and flavor. We literally happy danced with every bite! We had the wings, red beans and rice with crawfish, alligator, and shrimp, and lavender pork chops. Our sides were fried okra, green beans, fried corn, and mac cheese. And the mango coconut cake?? Im telling you I will dream about that cake... for a long time. Well worth the trip!!

First visit today Yum yum I had the blackberry chicken oh my it was delish. Honey had the pork chop waffle with peaches loved it. Love the changing menu. Oh yeah forgot to mention the German chocolate Carmel cake . Yes yes and yes so good. Thank you KIM for a great meal and the staff was so friendly made you feel like a home cooked meal and family

I went for the cake...it did not disappoint...i have never had anything like it...unbelievably moist...yum yum yum...THE BEST!!

OMG CAN I LIVE HERE?! Not only is the decor super cute, but the cooking backs up the reputation around town. Everyone who works here is absolutely amazing, and they 're willing and eager to accommodate for gluten allergies (which is extremely rare around here). The gf fried chicken wings were so good that I devoured them quicker than you could say Honey Chile ' Please , and the sweet potatoes were out of this world (coming from someone who normally doesn 't eat sweet potatoes). If I could, I would eat breakfast, lunch, and dinner here and be completely satisfied. In my husband 's words: This is the first restaurant I 've ever eaten at where everything I ate was the best I 've ever had . Aaaaand although I haven 't tried it yet, I can tell you the gf gooey butter cake will more than likely be the best I 'll ever have of that as well. Thank you to everyone who made my gluten free dreams come true today! We will DEFINITELY be back!

I love local restaurants and I love soul food! I order the catfish and it was really good. I place a to go order for fried chicken, greens, and mac& cheese for my boyfriend. Great customer service and the food was excellent. I will be back to try the spicy fried chicken and eat some of their homemade desserts. I couldn't try the desserts this visit because I'm not eating any desserts this month.
