One star is honestly a stretch. This place was the worst experience I’ve ever had at any restaurant ever. The inside was dingy and run down, there were boxes and trash all over the place. Our food was god awful, out of appetizers and entree I only had 2 edible bites. Yamato in petal is always my favorite place to eat, but Waynesboro has honestly ruined Yamatos for me. We stopped by after spending hours traveling and just happenedto see it after looking for another place and decided to eat there. Our mistake. If you have had good hibachi then this is disgusting in comparison. The shrimp tasted like it had dirt in it the steak was so tough and lacking flavor if I wasn't so polite I would have spit it out the vegetables were gross and so was the rice. The dumplings were their only saving Grace and I'm pretty sure they weren't homemade. The service was good but not enough to make up for the disappointment that was the food. We spent 50 dollars and left 90 percent of it on our plates (not including the dumplings like i said they were ok)
