Hg Coal Fired Pizza (chesterbrook)

The food at this restaurant was excellent and served hot, but unfortunately, it arrived over 20 minutes late for our luncheon. We had placed our order a day in advance to avoid any issues, so it was disappointing to experience a delay. As a result, we have deducted 1 star from our rating.

The pizza is delicious and the subs are excellent. They arrived quickly and were very filling - I could only eat half of mine and took the rest home for later. I highly recommend this place.

We have enjoyed the food from this restaurant in the past, but there have been a few instances where online orders had glitches that delayed our pick-up. However, my most recent experience was disappointing. The coal-fired pizza we ordered was very burnt on the bottom, to the point where 90% of it was blackened. We only noticed this once we got home, and by then it wasn't worth driving back to get a replacement. While I understand that coal-fired pizza can be crispy, this was beyond that. We reluctantly ate 2 pieces before giving up. I may consider trying this place again in the future, but I will probably avoid the coal-fired pizza or make sure to specify that we do not want it burnt.

HG Coal Fired is hands down the best pizza in the area! These guys never let you down. Also highly recommend the cheesesteak.

Visiting friends that recently moved from GA to PA...found this little joint on yelp. Pizza was okay. Buffalo chicken cheesesteak was enjoyed. Got a side salad -it was just average but the blue cheese dressing was odd-tasted like mayo with blue cheese crumbles added.
