Michael's Deli Waycross - Waycross

Passing through Waycross stopped at Michael's for lunch after tending to parent's and grandparents gravesites. Ordered the half-cheese steak with cole slaw and an additional side of potato salad. Wife order the fried zucchini and green salad. Food was served in foam containers as they appear to do a lot of takeout business. Food was warm and an appropriate portion for the prices. Fountain drinks and tea are self-serve with free refills. While noticed a number of the other patrons were ordering some of the fish/seafood dishes. From the bits of conversation we overheard, this is clearly a dining spot for local residents although Waycross is not a booming tourist town.

Good shrimp. My best review I can give is the honest cashier. I thought I handed her 11$ so when she gave me 15$ back I said wait I gave u 11$ that's too much change n was confused but she told me I'd gave her 26$ by mistake. Glad there's still honest people ?

Evidently this place is having financial issue.....charged me .15 cents a pack for club crackers! That I had with my chef salad.Want be coming back here.

Great cheese steaks, fried mushrooms a little salty,but still good .

The food is delicious, the prices are very good, and the staff always make you have an enjoyable time eating here. I highly recommend this restaurant.
