Pearl River - Waveney

I was not very impressed with this restaurant. The dishes were lacking in flavor, especially the cold and gelatinous sweet and sour rice. It seemed like the prices had gone up slightly, but I suppose that is to be expected. Overall, the lack of taste was disappointing.

Had a takeaway from here and found it quite pleasant. This is the 2nd time I have had a nice meal from here. We had King Prawn Curry , Singapore noodles, salt and pepper squid ad seet and sour King prawn balls that were huge. All very tasty.

I use Pearl River regularly and have never had a bad meal. Portions are a good size and very tasty, they are happy to cater for slight changes, always hot, quick delivery and I would certainly recommend them.

Very good as always love the food I specially love the free spicy spring rolls they where delishous I'll be buying them next time I order thank you for them

We decided to give Pearl River Beccles a try tonight since we hadn't been there since it changed ownership. To be honest, if I could rate it 0 stars, I would!! Everything we ordered was cold, the scampi was clearly not fresh, and the prices were high for the quality of the food. Sadly, we won't be returning anytime soon, which is disappointing because it used to be good, with hot and reasonably priced dishes before the change in ownership.
