Fisherman's Wharf - Waveney

Inside and out dirty.full of cigarette buts all over ground. Toilets dirty.sanitised station dirty. Needs a deep clean

Shame about the 2 female staff (1st august) Food was fab as it had been a few years back when I was last on holiday in Norfolk. The staff were very short boarder line goby to some of the customers. Some of which just left immediately. Also I can’t see the need to be asked 20 questions About what I’m trying to order. A large sausage and chips is a large sausage and chips! (Not battered) Also all the cod and haddock was mixed up and they clearly didn’t know what they were giving you!

Last Saturday, 1 pint turned into 3. Why? Because we enjoyed it! Great serving staff and top tunes :

Despite these initial hiccups, the food was excellent and offered great value. Our meals were well-presented and the serving staff were extremely friendly, working hard on a busy day. I ordered the Prawn Marie Rose baked potato, which came with a nice salad and a pot of coleslaw for £9. Other dishes included a tuna baked potato, battered sausage and chips, and a children's fish and chips portion that could have easily fed an adult at £4.75. The fish was delicious with a light batter and the chips were good too. Unfortunately, I did not get a chance to experience the ambiance inside the restaurant, but the outdoor seating by the sea wall was lovely.

My family went to Fisherman's Wharf based on food recommendations. We sat outside, but no food was being served. We purchased two drinks, but when we tried to order more, we were informed they were no longer serving. We went to a nearby venue with much better service and got our drinks there. When we returned to sit outside, we were told we could not drink there, even though they had not served us and were in the process of closing. The staff at Fisherman's Wharf were rude and attempted to take a drink from our table, claiming it was from another establishment. We left and went to the other venue, confused by the attitude of the bar staff at Fisherman's Wharf. I recommend avoiding this place and going to the newer venue instead, where the staff are polite and accommodating. Good manners don't cost anything.
