La Estacion - Waukesha

The food is excellent and definitely worth the wait. Although the wait wasn’t too long, I can assure you it was worth it. They speak both English and Spanish, so you won’t have trouble communicating. You might find some Spanish on the menu, but descriptions are provided in English. Overall, this was a fantastic experience!

La Estacion is a hidden gem. Situated in an old train station (hence the name La Estacion), the restaurant is huge and even includes seating in an old train car. I don't know anyone who hasn't gotten a kick out of that. The food is good. An extensive menu, including some more traditional Mexican dishes and to-die-for desserts. And last, but not least, is the margaritas!

We've finally discovered our go-to spot for amazing Mexican food! I tried the Gordita plate, which wasn't even listed on the menu, and I finished every last bite, including the rice and beans that were perfectly seasoned. Our server was highly professional and attentive. The total came to under $40 before tip. If you're craving excellent Mexican cuisine, this place is a must-visit. You even have the unique option of dining in a converted railcar. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I can't wait to return!

The food, drinks, and service at this restaurant are absolutely outstanding. We've tried many other Mexican places in the area, but none can compare. La Estacion is simply THE BEST! As for the comment about the Palomas being small and lacking flavor, they're served in a pint glass—what more could you ask for?
