Marco's Pizza - Waukee

This is a sweet little pizza shop. Pizzas have a very good taste. Was shocked how long it took because we were the only ones there for lunch at 12:30, but the dishes were ordered were delicious, yet.

Some time ago (I don't think too much longer after Marcos opened) I stopped in Marcos to pick up an order. The night was an absolute mess. People were waiting for their pizza for over an hour. Customers became rude with employees, very rude, and it was simply not a good night for Marcos. Grown adults complained to the young staff and only tried to find out what to do. When I said they fought this night, they fought. Pizza was okay. Quickly forward, a few weeks after that I received a handwritten card from the entrepreneur. Hand written! In this card was an apology for the debacle this night with a voucher for free fresy bread, and a request to give them another shot. I would have been independent, but this letter always remained with me to support their efforts. Since, Marcos was up on my list for the area. It is always fresh, whether delivered or picked up. I ordered from here on several occasions. Last night they said my order would happen in 18 minutes, and they gave it to me exactly on the point 18 minutes after I had suspended the phone with my order. The gentleman who answered the phone was super pleasant and the younger Gal who gave me my pizza was also very pleasant and thought it deserves a review. Great staff, great pizza. Sculpture is a cheese (for well prepared) and the deluxe with cheese bread.

They loved their pizza and their cheerful breadsticks. But first I had to question my order. Cashier corrected the mistake after he realized that he had accused me of a medium-sized pizza. would have cost me an extra $5!!!! And just a visit. I'm back!

The service was very good. Beautiful young lady behind the register that was not pushy and very friendly. We had the feeling of mixing it for a change to pizza crust. Ends up doing an extra big with the original. In 15 17 minutes they had this pizza on the table. not a ton of seating, but I think it's rather a quick pickup when you drive home. You have a nice ride through the window. They serve Pepsi products and have a beautiful assortment of wings, subparts and sides. Perfect for a family on the go or just a quick lunch or dinner.

As I type this, I have eaten some of our pizza order, which got here half an hour after the estimated delivery time, which was itself an hour and fifteen minutes after the order was placed. If there was some notification of the time it would take before I committed to the order, I didn 't see it. Being really busy is understandable--I think it 's the last day of Drake Relays, and it 's a Saturday, and Marco 's makes really good pizza. (Despite being a bit cool, the thin crust pizza we got is as good as I remember the awesome thin crust from Imo 's in St. Louis being. That said, we might not have chosen to place our order had we known ahead of time how long it would take. The web site, on which I placed the order, requires that you choose a specific Marco 's to prepare and optionally deliver your order. Once they know that, they should have sufficient information to respond Whoa! This Marco 's is REALLY BUSY and t 's liable to take [time] to get your order cooked and in your hands. Do you want to reconsider? All I ask for is the info I need to make an informed choice. (Some folks have issues with drugs that need to be taken with food. So.. .four stars tonight for time issues. ANY other time, an unhesitating five stars.
