I have wined and dined many a times at British Pub at the One Galle Face.I found the food, beverage and the ambience of the place is out of this world.Here I also found that they maintain the same standard in both take away and dining in.To add to this is the very professional and warm service of Oliver and her team especially Bala Chiran Keep it up guys

The food and beverages was excellent! The ambience as usual was great too. The prices are reasonable prices in all food and beverage.

Horrible experience. Wait staff is absolutely rude. We ordered few beers. They mixed up in the bill. When i went to clarify the issue. They were really rude to us. Back story: We ordered 6-8 beers. And there was 2 people. So what we told was the bill had an odd number of beers. So i was telling it cant be a odd number of beers when me and my partner was taking 2 beers each in every round we had. When i told that to the cashier he was rude to us. Said that he cant do anything about it. That was already punched in the order. So they cant remove it. And the matter was referred to the manager. And they said that they have to check the CCTV footage. When i said no problem. Lets look at the CCTV footage. He went on disrespecting my girlfriend saying that according to the type of her body she should be drunk after 2 beers and we didnt know how to count. When i told the matter is not about anything but the bill cant have and odd number of beers. He was telling the wait staff. Why did you put and odd number you should have punched in a higher even number of beers. And went on disrespecting us. He told that that he is getting late and he cant check the CCTV footage. But when i told him you guys offered to check the CCTV thats why iam insisting on it. He said there is no need for that and it will take hours. And they will never make mistakes like this but its just we cant count properly. Any how all in all. The service is really bad. Very rude to their customers. I recommend everyone who wasnts to go to this place to refrain from going. There are better pubs 10-15meters on eitherside from this location. Go to one of those places. You will have a better experience
